New Zealand-RO Pure Water System Installation
Client Requirements
The client required an RO system to provide 4–5 tons of purified water per day, operating for 8–10 hours daily with the unit idle for the remaining hours. The treated water quality needed to reach <1.0 µS, with a production rate of 0.5 t/h. Initially, the pure water storage tank was designed at 500L but was later customized to 2,500L to better align with their operational needs.
Challenges
The main challenge was the client’s unfamiliarity with equipment installation. The system design involved multiple pipelines and connection points, which required careful verification to ensure correct assembly. During the process, we identified issues such as the incorrect rotation direction of the raw water pump motor, which the client promptly corrected by checking and adjusting all pump motors.
Solutions Provided
To overcome these challenges and ensure smooth installation, we implemented a multi-step support approach:
- Annotated Images – Edited photos with clear text guidance to help the client understand installation details.
- Instructional Videos – Recorded installation videos with English subtitles for step-by-step guidance.
- Remote Live Technical Support – Reserved 1–1.5 hours every morning with Mr. Ma, our senior engineer, to conduct video meetings with the client (New Zealand time 3–4 PM) for real-time installation support.
Outcome
- First stage conductivity <10 µS
- Second stage conductivity <5 µS
- EDI resistivity 18.25 MΩ·cm
Thanks to the client’s high level of cooperation and timely adjustments, installation issues were resolved within 1–2 days for each step. After full installation and commissioning, the system achieved the desired results, with the control panel showing above.
Conclusion and The Testimonial From Their CEO:
This project demonstrates the importance of customized technical support and close client collaboration in overcoming installation challenges. By combining remote guidance, visual aids, and real-time problem-solving, we ensured that the RO system not only met but exceeded the client’s performance expectations
