When a client returns after two years with a new project and places an order within 24 hours—without price negotiation—it speaks volumes about the trust built through consistent quality and service.
This case study reflects exactly that: a long-term partnership with a Malaysian customer in the chemical wastewater treatment sector, and how our technical alignment, responsive support, and pricing integrity turned a one-time inquiry into lasting cooperation.
The Initial Inquiry (2024)
In 2024, we received an inquiry from a Malaysian client having a project in a wastewater treatment facility. Their application involved dewatering chemically treated sodium hydroxide sludge, and they provided on-site material photos for our evaluation.
Key process parameters:
- Dry solids output target: 50 kg/h per unit
- Feed flow rate: approximately 500 L/h
- Quantity required: 2 units, each capable of 50 kg/h dry cake production
After reviewing the sludge characteristics and operational conditions, our technical team recommended the Model 301 Screw Press Dewatering Machine. - Base plate drawing: The client planned to install the equipment on an elevated platform and requested detailed base drawings to fabricate the supporting structure themselves.
- Maintenance accessibility: They asked whether the equipment required multi-directional access for routine servicing.
Our engineering team responded promptly and clearly:
- We provided detailed base plate drawings with mounting hole positions and load distribution data.
- We recommended that the client construct a platform that includes both the equipment footprint and a designated operator walkway, allowing full access from three sides (front, rear, and control side). The cake discharge side does not require extended clearance, as it is not a routine maintenance zone.
This practical, space-conscious solution eliminated the need for costly structural overdesign while ensuring safe and convenient operation.

Rapid Order Placement and Smooth Execution
The client placed the order for two units within one week of the initial inquiry—a remarkably fast decision cycle, reflecting both their urgency and their confidence in our technical assessment. All questions were answered thoroughly before order confirmation, and the project proceeded without any post-order disputes or modifications.
Repeat Order – Two Years Later (2026)
Fast forward to 2026: the same Malaysian client initiated a new project with an identical sludge dewatering application—same chemical conditioning, same target output of 50 kg/h per unit, and same process flow. The Model 301 Sludge Dewatering Press remained the optimal choice.
However, two key factors had changed:
- Raw material costs had risen significantly over the two-year period.
- The new project required customized power supply specifications and flange connection standards different from the previous units.
