Self-Cleaning Filter for F&B Application

We worked with a client in Malaysia. And the end-user is a food and beverage plant. They require a self-cleaning filter with a insulation jacket — because the process runs at 90–95°C, and keeping that temperature stable throughout the filtration cycle is critical to product quality and consistency.
Here's what we're working with:

| Parameter | Specification |
| --------- | ------------- |
| Flow Rate | 0.5 m³/h |
| Filtration Rating | 177 microns |
| Product-Contact Material | SS316 |
| Non-Contact Material | SS304 |
| Special Feature | Insulation jacket for thermal retention |

In food and beverage applications, material selection is everything. That's why we specified SS316 for all product-contact parts — it offers superior corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Non-contact components will be SS304, providing durability without driving up costs.

Since this was our client's first encounter with self-cleaning filters, we took a step back. Instead of just sending a quote, we explained the working principle in simple terms, shared videos demonstrating the backwashing cycle, and walked them through the key technical parameters. We believe that every client deserves to fully understand the equipment they invest in — because an informed client is a confident client.

Now, we're excited to see this solution deliver clean results:Image
