Background

Our client, a U.S.-based company specializing in construction and renovation, generates a significant amount of recoverable paint during their daily coating operations. This recovered material — which settles at the bottom of the coating system — contains various contaminants of small to medium size, including dried paint flakes, wood chips, sawdust, and other debris.

The Challenge

The client had been using a bag filtration system to process this recovered paint. However, the operation proved to be labor-intensive and inefficient. The filter bags required frequent replacement and cleaning, which not only consumed valuable man-hours but also disrupted workflow and increased operational costs. Clearly, a more automated and low-maintenance solution was needed.
