Rotary Drum Screen for Grease Trap Sludge Separation — USA

Municipal & Environmental United States of America Real Cases

Our client, based in the United States, specializes in grease waste processing, septic tank cleaning, and pipeline maintenance and inspection. For this project, they needed a rotary drum screen to remove solids from the sludge collected from grease interceptors.

An internally-fed rotary drum screen was selected for the first filtration stage, with the goal of separating out all plastics, rocks, and other materials for independent handling.

Specifications:

  • Filtration rating: 0.5 mm
  • Construction material: SS304

Since the client operates the equipment for no more than one hour per day, the unit did not need to be sized to their maximum throughput. We recommended our JXN-500*2000 internally-fed rotary drum screen, rated at 200 GPM.

The Delivered Equipment

After the client received the equipment, we followed up on its operation. Their feedback: it works fine. We were delighted to receive such a positive confirmation.
