Custom Wedge Wire Screen Cylinders for Guatemala Equipment Supplier

Industrial Manufacturing Guatemala Real Cases

An equipment supplier based in Guatemala has worked with us for many times, primarily sourcing wedge wire screens for their equipment solutions. For this order, they required two different sizes of screen cylinders — but with a special twist: each complete cylinder had to be manufactured in four separate screen segments that fit together to form one full cylinder.

Project Requirements

The client needed two models with nearly identical specifications, differing only in length:

Model: 1000MG

  • Screen Material: SS304L Stainless Steel
  • Structure Material: SS304L Stainless Steel
  • Inner Diameter: 2500 mm
  • Length: 1000 mm
  • Slot Size: 0.50 mm

Model: 1200MG

  • Screen Material: SS304L Stainless Steel
  • Structure Material: SS304L Stainless Steel
  • Inner Diameter: 2500 mm
  • Length: 1200 mm
  • Slot Size: 0.50 mm

Key Manufacturing Challenge

The main challenge of this project was not the screen specifications themselves, but the fabrication requirement: each cylinder had to be divided into four separate curved screen panels. These four panels are designed to be assembled on site to form one complete cylindrical screen. This approach simplifies transportation and installation, especially for large-diameter cylinders, while maintaining precise fit and structural integrity after assembly.
Both models share the same 2500 mm inner diameter and 0.50 mm slot size, ensuring consistent filtration performance. The only difference between the two models is the length — 1000 mm and 1200 mm — allowing the client to use them in different positions or equipment configurations.
